Cotney Construction Law is a corporate sponsor for Black Dagger Military Hunt Club, Inc., a charitable organization dedicated to providing adaptive shooting, hunting, fishing and other outdoor opportunities for military veterans. In addition, Trent Cotney has supported a variety of veterans charitable organizations including Special Operations Warrior Foundation and Wounded Warrior.
FRSA Research & Education Foundation
Trent Cotney is a Governor level sponsor of the Florida Roofing & Sheet Metal (FRSA) Research and Education Foundation dedicated to advancing the industry through training and research. The firm also sponsors and is a member of the Foundation.
National Women In Roofing
Cotney Construction Law helped establish and donates all of its time pro bono to the National Women in Roofing (NWIR). Attorneys Trent Cotney and Hilary Morgan work with the organization to provide legal services when needed at no charge.
FRSA and FRACCA
Cotney Construction Law donates all of its time pro bono to FRSA and Florida Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Contractors Association (FRACCA) to advocate for the industry and provide any legal support necessary to defend roofing, sheet metal, HVAC and refrigeration contractors.
Humane Society of Tampa Bay
As a former board member of the Humane Society of Tampa Bay (2008-2010), Trent is passionate about helping animals and routinely donates to the organization. Trent also adopted a rescue dog from the Hillsborough County Animal Shelter (the unofficial mascot of Cotney Construction Law).
